We’ll witness the world’s first Protestant Reformation. Jan Hus was a pivotal character in what was to be the future of Christianity. We will discover his theological thoughts and biography as we enter the medieval undergrounds of Charles University.

We’ll also visit the site of he reformer’s triumph, Bethlehem’s Chapel. We’ll also delve into the time of his fall as he was burnt at the stake as a heretic at the Church Council in Constance.

The tour will cover the main gothic churches where the Reform first developed: Church of St. Martin in the Wall and the Church of our Lady of the Snows. We’ll explain how the Hussite movement successfully spread throughout the country, as well as the reaction of Christian Europe with 5 Holy Crusades that invaded the Kingdom of Bohemia.

We’ll reach the New Town Hall where the first Prague defenestration took place. We will conclude our journey in Prague 3 at a beautiful park with exquisite views of the city. Here lies the country’s largest sculpture: Jan Žižka, the invincible general that never lost a battle, the most important military hero in all of Czech history.
